Cleaning Tub Drains
Nearly all problems associated with slow draining tubs are due to hair and body oil build-up. If your home has been installed with Lift and Turn Drains, cleaning your tubs drains should be relatively easy. The draining problem can generally be corrected by removing the drain stopper and cleaning debris from the drain. Here's how:
- 1. Remove the stopper by placing it in the lower position and turning it counter-clockwise.
- 2. Unscrew the stopper and lift it out of the drain.
- 3. Clean the drain and replace the stopper.
